Minimalism

Here, of course, I would like to start with the history of the emergence of this style, but it is very difficult to trace. Minimalism has developed throughout the history of architecture, and in one way or another was used in the design of residential and non-residential premises. However, it was in the twentieth century, designers defined minimalism style as the use of a small number of decor and various details in the interior.

In principle, the main differences in this style are as follows:

• comfortable and functional arrangement of objects;
• simplicity and conciseness of forms, almost complete absence of decor;
• a large amount of free space;
• the choice of mainly natural materials;
• the use of strict geometric shapes and only quiet colors.
